What does it mean to activate nuts and seeds?
Nuts and seeds are nutrient dense, but also contain phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors that prevent our bodies from absorbing the goodness and digesting it better.
Activating nuts and seeds removes the inhibitors and breaks down much of the phytic acid, allowing the nutrients to be more readily available for our bodies to absorb.
The activation process involves soaking, sprouting, and then dehydrating the nuts and seeds at a low temperature.
It takes 4 days to activate and produce each batch of our Bliss Fit Granola.
But we think it’s totally worth it and your body will love the goodness too!
